- FAU Stadium: The only stadium in the country that comes with a mind-blowing view of the ocean. Home to the annual Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl and the Florida Launch professional lacrosse team, FAU Stadium has hosted major sporting events, including the NCAA Women’s Soccer College Cup and a U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team friendly.

- Sugar Sand Park: Sugar Sand Park offers a range of thrilling experiences waiting for you. Visit the Children’s Science Explorium to learn about the fantastic world of science
- Everglades National Park Just a short drive from Miami, here you’ll encounter one of the country’s most significant and fragile habitats, and the country’s largest subtropical wilderness. Consisting almost entirely of swampland and marshes – which in turn serves as the state’s reservoir – here wildlife enthusiasts are attracted for the chance to spot animal varieties such as egrets, manatees, alligators, and crocodiles, as well as unique beasts including the Florida Panthers.

- Biscayne National Park: One of the top day trips from Miami for outdoor lovers is to Biscayne National Park. It’s located a fun boat ride away from downtown Miami, and although it’s only accessible by water, it’s close enough that you can view the city from here. The park is also a common spot for divers, drawn by the excellent opportunities along the Maritime Heritage Trail, an underwater experience that involves a number of great dive sections encompassing the old shipwrecks.

- Ritzy West Palm Beach= After getting your fill of the seafront and attractions, such as Ragtops Motorcars, traversing the nearby Jonathan Dickinson State Park and Hobe Sound National Wildlife Preserve, or taking a Diva Duck Amphibious Tour, it’s time to explore the great shopping and entertainment available here. For a flavor of real opulence, head to Worth Avenue on Palm Beach, a ritzy enclave of bespoke shops, art galleries, excellent eateries… and yes, luxury yacht showrooms.

- Naples: Like West Palm Beach on the Atlantic side of Florida, the Gulf Coast town of Naples has made a headliner for itself as a centre of extravagance and lifestyles. A comfortable two-hour ride across the Everglades from Miami, its shores though, are assuredly less busy, but equally beautiful. Top beachside activities involve sunbathing, swimming, paddleboarding, sea kayaking, or simply strolling along the golden coasts. A variety of parks accommodate change facilities, picnic areas, and, in some instances, delightful gardens to explore, and the town also boasts a charming pier.

- Fort Lauderdale: Positioned just 23 miles to the north of Miami, Fort Lauderdale makes a delightful day trip from the ever-bustling Miami. Part of the attraction here is the unparalleled network of waterways and canals that divide the town, which can be explored simply by jumping aboard one of the water taxis that regularly ply the waters, transferring people from place to place – an individually fun adventure at night.

- Boca Raton Museum of Art= As a leading cultural institution in South Florida, this museum attracts more than 200,000 visitors annually to its galleries and programs. The 44,000-square-foot facility has achieved international recognition for its dynamic changing exhibitions and distinguished permanent collection. The museum’s many public programs include artist presentations, family activities, and more than 100 classes per week at its studio Art School. Admission is free for children (12 & under) and students (with ID), and $12 for adults.

- Gumbo Limbo Nature Center: The Center hosts environmental affairs for all ages, as well as sea turtle-themed activities and experiences – sea turtle summer camps, turtle tours, hatchling release observations and free outdoor marine feedings, among many others. Admission is free, but a suggested $5 contribution per person is always appreciated.

- Red Reef Park: Snorkeling at the park’s south end and surf fishing are public relaxation activities, and access to the shore is open with many parking options. Added amenities include shower stations, walking trails and a picnic stretches decked with grills, tables, and restrooms.
