Phoenix, Arizona- What to Expect

If you thought packing for a week was hard, trying packing for more than a week. In recent years snowbird destinations for Canadian have expanded to different parts of the globe. Phoenix, Arizona, is a great place if you have been planning for some amazing spots head to warmer places, have a surprising array of sunny, affordable destination options from which to choose.

Phoenix is widely known as the valley of the sun even though it attracts lots of tourists the entire year around. In Arizona, you will find the most luxurious places to stay in about 1,186.00$ for the month to the non-expensive restaurant with an average meal in about 16.08$. I thought it would be the perfect time to share our favorite places relax, play, explore in Arizona with lots of surprises in along the way. In this section, we are going to share the top places that are a must-visit while in Phoenix.

Heard Museum – So much fun! A fascinating exhibition of American Indian culture and artifacts. It is an incredible place with the foremost unique and diverse collections. It is a beautiful and intriguing opening to the treasures in the gallery, besides, the museum complex includes beautiful outdoor spaces, an archival library, education center, Indian Fair, shop and bookstore, café, meeting space and auditorium.

Musical Instrument Museum – My favorite part of the museum is that you can play some of the instruments. The impressive collection of more than 6,800 instruments from almost 200 countries and territories makes this museum unique. You’ll also see instruments from music icons such as John Lennon, Elvis Presley, and others.

Taliesin West – This place would be very interesting for anyone even those having the smallest interest in architecture. It’s worthy of your time to appreciate home design and unique detail architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright’s personal touch and the interior design that look very modern. It’s beautiful, go!

Desert Botanical Garden – OH MY GOSH! The Desert Botanical Garden is one of the highlights, and August is your last chance to experience the sights, sounds, and mysteries of the desert. The Garden has a large variety of plants approx more than 50,000 desert plants, that you never find anywhere else. This is also a good place to spot hummingbirds and butterflies, with designated gardens designed to attract these creatures.

Papago Park – That morning could not have been any more perfect!  This is a popular place to come for a walk, particularly in the morning before the heat of the day. The park has a multitude of trails, take you up to the weird rock outcroppings that are a key feature of the park. You can sometimes see wildlife, primarily rabbits but occasionally bighorn sheep.

Phoenix Zoo – Believing me in Phoenix Zoo is expansive, exciting, and kid-oriented. There are endless ways you can explore the 125 acres of the parking area with twenty-three prehistoric creatures have officially descended onto the Phoenix Zoo’s Desert Lives Trail. This is an unforgettable self-guided expedition into the land of the lost you won’t want to miss.

Arizona Science Center – Remarkable! Nestled in the picturesque setting of Heritage and Science Park, the Center is a unique landmark designed to know more about the stars, the galaxies, the universe and what they’re made of. With so much to see and do in the Arizona Science Center, you will want to spend at least 4-5 hours there to be able to get around everything.

Admire Unique Street Art – Phenomenon! Phoenix is a city that surprises you with a vibrant, beautiful mural. I recommend everyone to spend a few hours to look at a unique amount of graffiti on every corner. It catches my eye every time I drive by it.

Hiking Trails and Hot Air – It looks so perfect! A walk through the desert is always a pleasant way to spend a morning or a day, and Phoenix offers a full range of hiking trails and scenic sunrise balloon rides. At one extreme, you’ll find trails for the adventurous hiking and at another end a magical hot air balloon ride with Hot Air Expedition.
